The Library offers passes to three area museums, available for use by current Saint Anselm students, faculty and staff.

Currier Museum of Art, Manchester, NH

Saint Anselm College is an Institutional Partner with the Currier Museum of Art.

As such, students, faculty and staff will receive FREE admission with a valid college ID. Visit their website for additional admissions information. 

Manchester Historic Association, Manchester, NH

Our passes allow free admission for up to four people per visit. They include unlimited visits to the Millyard Museum and MHA Research Center, lectures, walking tours, concerts, and special events.

Founded in 1896, the Manchester Historic Association collects, preserves and shares the history of Manchester, New Hampshire, USA. The Association operates the Millyard Museum and the MHA Research Center, both of which are open to the general public. The Association presents a variety of public programs including lectures, walking tours, and concerts, and also school programs for students from pre-school through college.

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston MA

University Membership

The University Membership program allows for free ticketed admission to students, faculty, and staff with a valid ID from Saint Anselm College (and most colleges in NH, MA, and ME). For more information, visit the MFA University Membership website. 

Institutional Pass Program

Geisel Library also offers the MFA's Institutional Pass Program (IPP) that enables our students, faculty, and staff to also:

  • purchase discounted tickets for family members that do not have Saint Anselm College IDs, and
  • reserve tickets in advance online or over the phone.

These IPP benefits require you to get an IPP code from Geisel Library. The code provides up to two adults $15 admission and four youths (ages 7-17*) $10 admission (general and special exhibition) per person.

* Visitors under 7 years of age are always free.

The IPP code allows you to redeem the admission discount online through the MFA's website or in person. If redeeming in person, you must show the email from the library with the IPP code. 

Email Nicole Pennell (npennell@anselm.edu), Circulation & Operations Manager, to obtain an IPP code. Codes are available on a first come, first served basis--one code per day/per institution (SAC) is allowed. Codes for weekend use must be requested before 4:00 p.m. on Friday evenings. 

Museum of NH History / NH Historical Society, Concord, NH

Passes to the New Hampshire Historical Society must be checked out and returned after use. Each pass provides free admission for up to 4 adults to the New Hampshire Historical Society’s museum exhibitions and also free use of the Society’s research library. 

The Society’s 1911 headquarters building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features exhibitions about New Hampshire history, art, and culture. Exhibitions showcase hundreds of objects, photographs, and documents including Native American artifacts, items from the Revolutionary period through the Civil War and World War II; the original 1818 eagle that once sat atop the state capitol; portraits of notable New Hampshire residents such as Franklin Pierce and Daniel Webster; early furniture, silver, and other decorative arts; and 19th-century White Mountain landscape paintings.
