Updates in Diabetes Care 2026: A Focus on Diagnostic and Treatment Options
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to apply current evidence-based strategies in the diagnosis and management of Type 2 diabetes, incorporating both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions to improve glycemic control and reduce complications.
With the prevalence of Type 2 diabetes continuing to rise, nurses play a critical role in education, early detection, and comprehensive management of this complex chronic condition. This full-day continuing education program, led by Wendy L. Combining Foundational Neurotoxins, Advanced Neurotoxins, Dermal Fillers and Lip Augmentation, we provide a progressive learning experience, moving from core principles to expert-level techniques. Participants will gain a deep understanding of facial aesthetics, refine their injection skills, and develop confidence in performing neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments.
The certificate is comprised of 4 workshop days:
- Neurotoxins 101
- Intro to Dermal Fillers
- Neurotoxins 102
- Lip Augmentation.
Each workshop earns 7.25 nursing contact hours for a total of 29-hour certificate.
Participants will also earn a digital badge for display on resumes, email signatures, social media profiles etc.
Learning Outcomes
Neurotox 101:
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to demonstrate foundational knowledge of neurotoxins and perform basic cosmetic injection techniques safely and effectively on live models.
Neurotox 102:
By the end of the workshop, participants will state increased knowledge of neurotoxins and demonstrate advanced aesthetic injections safely and effectively, enhancing their clinical practice and professional opportunities in medical aesthetics.
Intro to Dermal Fillers:

Pediatric Symposium for Nurses: Advancing Care Across the Continuum

29th Annual Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Conference

Healthcare Simulation Educator Certificate
This is a four-part course. All four courses are required to earn the certificate. You do not have to sign up for all four courses at once. The four courses can be taken in any order.
DESCRIPTION: This innovative online certificate program is designed to explore the various components necessary to develop and run simulation scenarios within an academic or clinical setting.
WHO: Any nurse practicing in an education role who is interested in developing or working in a simulation program. This would be applicable to nurse educators in academia or healthcare facilities, preceptors, mentors, or staff nurses who are interested in learning more about this teaching pedagogy.
WHY: The content will provide the nuts and bolts of simulation to include how to assess educational needs, develop, implement and evaluate simulation experiences.
WHAT: In order to receive this 60-hour certificate (equal to 60 contact hours), completion of the four modules is required. Each module is 15 contact hours and is taught in an online format: 6 hours virtual live webinar, 9 hours online utilizing discussion boards and case studies, and required reading over the course of 4 weeks in an asynchronous manner.
