Saint Anselm College recognizes the concerns of individuals regarding privacy and online data collection. We strive to respect and protect the privacy expectations of our website visitors.

Most websites collect some information regarding visitors. Types of information collected are wide-ranging, and are collected both passively (by the web servers that host the websites) and actively (via user input through forms, surveys, etc.). Some of the information collected allows site owners to determine who a particular visitor is and to track their behavior within and across a website domain. However, most of the information collected cannot identify you as a particular individual and is only collected in aggregate.

Websites within the Saint Anselm College website domain, anselm.edu likewise collect information regarding site visitors. The purpose of this statement is to inform you on how the College governs the collection and use of information collected on websites and Saint Anselm Digital Properties maintained and operated by the College including, but not limited to mobile applications.

Privacy Statement

Saint Anselm College does not actively share (sell, rent, or trade) personal information gathered from our Web server with outside agencies (third parties) except

  • if you expressly consent to share the information;
  • in response to subpoenas, court orders, as required by applicable law, or other legal processes;
  • when a business need arises, the College may share alumni email addresses with service providers acting on the College’s behalf to conduct outreach, development, and advertising campaigns, who have agreed to protect the confidentiality of the data.

Any alumnus who does not wish to have their email address shared with a service provider should contact alumni@anselm.edu.

Cookies

The College does not associate your IP address with any other information held by Saint Anselm that can specifically identify you unless we are required to do so by law.

The College collects the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us or request information from us via e-mail. E-mail addresses and other contact information may be shared between college departments.
