On Monday, January 15, 2024, the Feast Saints Maurus and Placid, Brother Stanislaw Sullivan, O.S.B., was received into our community to begin a probationary period before transferring his stability to Saint Anselm Abbey. Brother Stanislaw comes to us from Saint Leo Abbey in Saint Leo, Florida. The matter of a monk transferring stability is mentioned in Chapter 61 of the Rule of Saint Benedict. Brother Stanislaw is a native of Chicopee, Massachusetts. He professed vows as a Benedictine monk in 1998. Please join us in welcoming Brother Stanislaw to our community and pray for him as he begins this period of prayer and discernment.
