Since 2010, Saint Anselm College has hosted the annual New Hampshire Science Olympiad competition. Over the years, more than 30 teams and 400 students from local New Hampshire high schools and middle schools compete in various science-based events in areas of biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and experiential design.

Participants gain valuable skills through committing to a goal, working as a team, and using intellectual creativity to aim for success. The event is a part of the larger Science Olympiad national organization committed to STEM education.

The state-level competition also provides scholarship opportunities to participants.
