On Thursday, August 14, Mr. Noah Manuel was received into the novitiate and clothed in the monastic habit. Abbot Isaac gave him his religious name, Brother Dismas. Brother Dismas' patron is Saint Dismas, the "good thief" described in the Passion narratives. Brother Dismas is a native of Newport, Rhode Island. Father Bernard Disco, O.S.B., will serve as his Novice Master. Please pray for Brother Dismas as he begins this year of formation.
