On Friday, August 14, Mr. Thomas Canuel, Mr. Kiean Hickey, and Mr. Jacob Akey were received into the novitiate and clothed in the monastic habit. Abbot Isaac also gave them their monastic names.
Thomas is now known as Brother Philip. His patron is Saint Philip Neri. Kiean is now known as Brother Boniface. His patron is Saint Boniface. Jacob is now known as Brother Abel. His patron is Abel of the Book of Genesis.
Father Bernard Disco, O.S.B., will serve as their Novice Master.
